For more than a decade, communities across the country have celebrated National Public Health Week (NPHW) each April by highlighting public health achievements and raising awareness of issues important to improving the public's health. This year, APHA will continue its broad vision to make America the healthiest nation in one generation by addressing the importance of injury and violence prevention through the theme "Safety is No Accident: Live Injury-free".
We each have a role to play in reaching our goal and the 2011 Partner Toolkit aims to help you get involved. In it you will find fact sheets, media outreach materials, suggested community events, legislative information and resources to use throughout NPHW. Start planning your NPHW event today!
